Elua means couple or two. This intricate highly polished carving represents two, joined together where each one does his part, which is different from the other. The cording is a classy rope weave of dark brown, beige and cold which measures 26 inches. Cut amber crystal bead and loop clasp. No metal on the peice.

Lokahi means harmony and unity. This carving signifies eternity. The twist and turns represents life as shared between two individual, and their together through it. The symbol itself is highly polished and carved of monkey pod. The large white pearl is made of actual pearl material, although shaped by man. The pearl represents perfection and morality (incorruptibility). It is also a sign of long life and fertility. Fertility can mean to give birth to ideas as well as children. It meansures 18inches. There is no metal on this piece.

Ku or Kukailimoku (masculine) along with his counter part, Hina (femanine) are great ancestral dieties., Together they include everything from the eath to the heaves, from the east to the west. Kukailimoku means "snatcher of the Islands". Hence Kamehameha I (unifier of the Islands) associated himself with Ku, and had many monuments erected in his honor.
